Comparing to our normal plate compactors, the series tamping rammers are designed for compacting COHESIVE soils, Such as clay and silt in small repair jobs and in narrow confined areas, such as trenches or housing sites. But they also Could be used on sand and gravel.
A Rammer, also callled a Tamper or Jumping Jack has a smaller plate than other plate compactors and are ideal for asphalt, or getting into tight situations with excellent compaction force. These machines work well on cohesive soil achieving compaction depths of ranging from 16 - 25 inches. Choose between different compaction force and covererage area.
Tamping rammer is suitable for the traffic, municipal works and construction sectors with unique functions to tamp the road shoulder, bridge surroundings, pavement of the street.
